The Ariel Series
The Saracen Ariel sees the biggest evolution since first introduced in 2010. Awarded critical acclaim from press and customers alike, Saracen have read, digested and done they're homework on all the feedback. The surefooted geometry remains unchanged but the Ariel chassis uses theyre new propriety tubeset in the front triangle. The rear swingarm has also evolved, now being not only stiffer but lighter too. The linkage parts have been re-worked and are again lighter. Overall Saracen have saved around 150grams. Norglide composite bearings, Taper headtube, ISCG05 mounts and multi-chipslot dropout system all remain.
The other big change is Saracen now offer Ariel in 140mm and 160mm variants. This is directly from market feedback and the emergance of downhill style enduro racing. The 160mm versions have a slightly burlier rear triangle and are built for Mega-avalanche style events.
